We also issue mandate certificates "remotely"
Revised:
Published:
The "remote" solution will enable SNCA clients to issue a mandate certificate for an approved chip card. Until now, when issuing a certificate, it was necessary for the applicant to come personally to the workplace in Bratislava, or solve the application process through one of the notary offices. A personal visit to the workplace was primarily a burden for the applicant himself, as it was necessary to travel outside his workplace and often even outside the district or region. Remote issuance of mandated certificates will provide a convenient solution accessible directly from the certificate holder's workplace or home.
A personal visit was necessary mainly to verify the applicant's identity. Currently, however, most citizens have an electronic ID card with a chip that will help replace the personal identification of the certificate holder and thus streamline the entire process.
Note: Mandate certificates can still be issued directly through NASES at the premises of the Registration Authority (Tower 115, Pribinova 25, 811 09 Bratislava) and through any notary public. For more information, do not hesitate to contact our colleagues at snca@nases.gov.sk or follow the instructions for applying for a mandate certificate.
The new option for submitting a request for the issuance of a mandate certificate, thanks to an efficient solution, removes all the complications associated with traveling and a personal visit to the workplace.
How does it work?
- Fill out the request for the issuance of a mandate certificate using the e-form at slovensko.sk.
- In the "Required Data" section, indicate the "remote" issue method.
- Indicate that you are interested in a MONET+ ProID+Q chip card (if you do not already own one), as the above certificates can only be issued for this type of card.
- Upload a document proving the mandate (Appointment decree / Certificate / Employment contract / ...) in the attachment.
- Sign the application with the electronic seal of the organization or the mandate certificate or ID card of the statutory body and send it.
- In the meantime, the person for whom the certificate was requested in this way registers on the self-service portal using his ID card.
We will review the application and approve the registration process. The required values are generated on the chip card and then sent to the mailing address you provided, along with a cover letter containing instructions on what to do after receiving it.
- Follow the steps in the cover letter to complete uploading the certificate.
- You can find security codes (PIN/PUK) in your electronic mailbox.
- Download the MONET chip card software (if you don't already have it) and you can start signing.
Public authorities are advised that the remote issuing method is only available for mandated certificates. When requesting an electronic seal, the presence of the statutory body or a person officially authorized for this purpose is still required.
